Documentation
Everything needed to connect. Your own username and password are in the dashboard under Proxies.
Endpoint
Connect to the proxy host shown in your dashboard on the port for your protocol, and authenticate with your proxy username and password.
| Protocol | Port | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| HTTPS proxy | 31111 | Recommended for most tools |
| HTTP proxy | 31112 | For older clients that cannot use an HTTPS proxy |
| SOCKS5 | 31113 | For clients that specifically need SOCKS5 (use socks5h so DNS resolves through the proxy) |
Password modifiers
Targeting and session behaviour are chosen by adding suffixes to your password. The dashboard builds these for you.
PASSWORD: automatic rotation, any country.PASSWORD_country-US: exit in the United States.PASSWORD_session-order42: sticky session labelledorder42.PASSWORD_country-US_session-order42: both. Country comes first.
Rotation
Without a session label, an exit is selected whenever your client opens a new proxy connection. Requests sent over the same open connection use the same exit. Browsers and HTTP libraries reuse connections, so a page refresh may or may not rotate. A new connection triggers a new selection, but the selected IP is not guaranteed to differ from the previous one.
Sticky sessions
A session label keeps new connections on the same exit. The session expires after 60 minutes with no new connection; each new connection restarts that timer. Use one label per workflow, and separate labels for concurrent workflows.
A sticky session depends on one residential device staying online. If it disconnects, the session fails. It is not silently moved to another IP. When that happens, pick a new label and restart the workflow from a safe point, and keep retries bounded.
Country targeting
Country is the only targeting level. Use upper-case two-letter ISO codes. If there is no exit available in the chosen country the request fails rather than falling back elsewhere. An unrecognised code is ignored by the network and the request may exit anywhere, so check the country you observe.
Bandwidth and balance
You are charged for data transferred through the proxy in both directions. Generating configurations is free. When your balance is used up, top up to carry on.
Examples
curl --proxy 'https://PROXY_HOST:31111' \
--proxy-user 'USERNAME:PASSWORD' \
'https://ipinfo.io'curl --proxy 'socks5h://PROXY_HOST:31113' \
--proxy-user 'USERNAME:PASSWORD' \
'https://ipinfo.io'import requests
proxy = "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@PROXY_HOST:31112"
r = requests.get("https://ipinfo.io", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=30)
print(r.json()["ip"])import { ProxyAgent, fetch } from "undici";
const dispatcher = new ProxyAgent({
uri: "http://PROXY_HOST:31112",
token: "Basic " + Buffer.from("USERNAME:PASSWORD").toString("base64"),
});
const res = await fetch("https://ipinfo.io", { dispatcher });
console.log((await res.json()).ip);Troubleshooting
- Authentication fails: check you copied the full password including any suffix, and that you have not reset your password since generating the configuration.
- Connection fails before authentication: check the port matches the protocol, and that your network allows outbound connections to it.
- Country requests fail: there may be no exit available there right now. Try again or use another country.
- Same IP twice in a row: expected. Rotation selects per connection and does not promise uniqueness.
